Many have ask us why we breed ? Many have ask 'what about all those that do not have homes ?"

Why we breed the Maltipoo is simple .We love them . The other question is harder to answer for it is not I that abandon litters of puppies on the sides of the road .It is not I that abuse and drop off at kill shelters .Does that relieve me of any of the blame ?

No, for I like anyone that love animals have a duty to educate .A duty to speak out . A duty to help those animals in need .

        I truly believe that Education not harsh words and emotions  are needed to get  rid of Kill Shelters and Pounds .

People that look for  a dog or cat  to bring into their home often do not know what it entails . They do not  understand the long and sometimes frustrating  routine of housetraining  or training one not to scrath the furniture or mark it or chew on it .

        Animals are like children ,you get one ,read a book and think " Wow  ,all this information and I got it made ! " Then , well ....no book can give you the whole . As each child is different ,so is each animal .

What works for one does not always work for another ,even from the same parents .We know this is true because we have raised our children and each was different as night and day .

So , many abandon their pets ,they take them to shelters because the 'dog grew too large for my home ' ...Welll...did you consider that BEFORE you got the dog ?  Did you consider or even think that what you are taking to the pound soon will become just another 'dead' animal ?

How do you grieve ?

Before you abandoned your pet, did you look into the trusting eyes that when you got your puppy was so full of love to give you ,so full of joy as you played and snuggled ? Did you search the truth about the breed BEFORE you got it or was it gotten on a whim ? "Kids want a dog ,well I got one "   Why ?  Kids want all the time ..do we always do what kids want or what we can to ensure that they have what they 'need' ?

Did you go to puppy classes , did you consider  that when the puppy grew ,it would no longer be a puppy but a large bundle of energy that greeted you each day with unconditional love ?

           Did you think before you snuffed out a life so carelessly that God created that life ,just as he created yours?

I know ,I know .....we all get caught up in the 'heat ' of a moment and do not plan or think ...things happen . But what if we did plan ? What if we did think ?
