The UPS and DOWNS of being a Hands On Breeder

My day as a breeder .......well once upon a time ...

I could watch TV or go to the movies or take a long hot bath ...now I am lucky to get a 5 minute shower and a hot dog ...LOL !

My day starts each morning very early with the puppies waking up and wanting attention ..." bark ,bark ...whine ...whine ' ...so while I put a pot of coffee on and take my morning meds ,I am saying "ok babies ...wait just a minute and i will be there '

And then while the coffee is brewing I go and sit in the middle of the room while my puppies jump and play and chew on my fingers and I try to make sure they have not chewed up a stuffed animal while I slept ...I can promise ,it happens often ...LOL !

Then ,my day really starts ...

A breeder has alot to do .From scooping poop to giving baths ,vet trips ,deliveries ,answer phone calls ,e-mails ....the list goes on and on .

Me,I seem to never get a break .Even with help and my husband it is not an easy thing .

Puppies are messy little munchkins and can they ever command attention ...but they are worth it .

My days and nights are full every day and night .I lost track a long time ago of clothes that did not have bleach spots on them ...LOL!
